This Dune-style game is a long way from Sonic The Hedgehog. When SegaSoft went looking for a hard core strategy game they went to futuristic role-playing gurus at Holistic Design.
It is the beginning of the sixth millennium after Christ's Death. The once bright light that was humanity has nearly come to an end. A new, deep, dark age has descended. Out of the ashes strides a new leader, one who has promises to unite the the fragments leading into a glorious golden age. Players control one of five noble houses, each trying to command enough votes to be crowned Emperor of the Known Worlds. Winning requires a strong, decisive military mind, and an understanding of more subtle and devious arts like treachery and politics.
